Fatal Motorcycle Accident

The Texas Department of Public Safety has released a preliminary report on a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred this past Sunday in Brown County. According to the report, 48-year-old Joseph Raymond of San Angelo was traveling south on CR 105 when he approached a sharp curve. Raymond applied the rear brake, causing the rear wheel to skid and resulting in a loss of control. The motorcycle tipped over onto its left side, and Raymond was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The weather was clear and the roads were dry at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
