According to the United States Geological Survey, yesterday a 5.2 magnitude earthquake was reported in western Texas in the early morning hours, approximately 32 miles northwest of Pecos. Within a small timeframe of 30 minutes several aftershocks were reported and recorded. It has not been made official yet as to whether the smaller quake over the weekend was ever categorized as a Foreshock. Foreshocks being the opposite of aftershocks.
